OK, I’m officially a little bitch.
Seriously, it’s so damn lonely in this house without Will and MJ. They’re coming home tomorrow and not a minute too soon. I had the whole day off and was pretty productive. I cleaned, I went to the store, I picked up around the house. I even volunteered to work on my day off because the newspaper is working on a HUGE story involving Somalian pirates taking hostages with links to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay. If I had been in today, that baby would’ve been mine. What a fantastic story. I’m so pissed at the timing.
But anyways, I got so bored I started going through some old stuff. That included all my old home videos from the last five years or so. And since Opening Day just passed and the Red Sox are back in my life, there’s no better time to show one of the happiest moments of my life. This is Oct. 27, 2004, the day the Red Sox won it all for the first time since 1918. I’m behind the camera but my dad, my brother, MJ and our friends Liz and Rick are all pictured. I still get goosebumps when I watch and listen to everyone’s reactions.
It’s pretty grainy but well worth a look! I wanted to keep the camera on my dad since he waited the longest out of all of us for them to win it. Good times!
